JAKE HOBAUGH

Born in Washington, Hobaugh has competed and coached internationally, and all over the United States. Hobaugh joins the JMG Tennis Academy with a great deal of impressive personal tennis achievements and professional coaching accolades.

Highly ranked in juniors and men’s opens, Hobaugh was also a hitting partner for ATP and WTA pros. Hobaugh was the Head Men’s Tennis Coach at the University of Puget Sound. While coaching, he started Hobaugh Tennis Academy in 2009. He is also active in directing USTA junior tournaments, college recruiting, and tennis specific fitness training.

Tennis player’s advancement and accomplishments under Coach Hobaugh’s guidance include:
  • Gold Ball Boys18s Single and Doubles
  • U.S. Open Juniors Boys Qualifying and Main Draw
  • Gold Ball Boys 14s Doubles and 12s Singles and Doubles
  • Top 5 in Sections Girls 12s and 14s
  • Coached #1 Ranked Boys 12s
  • Players have earned scholarships to U.W., Lafayette, Seattle University, University of Florida, IPFW, University of Idaho, and Lewis and Clark State.
  • Junior Sectional Wins in Girls 12s, 14s; and Boys 12s, 14s and 18s
